When The Sector Decides The Aircraft
Ten to fourteen seats with full flat-bed seating, from USD 7,000 per flight hour. On a non-stop from the Gulf or Europe this is not the comfortable choice — it is the only one.

Two classes, one band
Heavy Jet Or Ultra Long Range
| Cabin class | Seats | Per hour | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Heavy — Legacy 600, Challenger 650 | 10–14 | USD 7,000–17,000+ | Larger groups, long missions |
| Ultra long range — Falcon 7X, G650ER | 10–14 | USD 7,000–17,000+ | Non-stop Gulf, Europe, North Asia |
Figures as published in the fleet section of the homepage, as of August 2026. Both classes share an hourly band; what separates them is whether the sector can be flown non-stop.
What this tier is really buying
-
Flat beds change the arrival
Full flat-bed seating and in-flight catering are standard here. On an overnight sector that is the difference between landing able to work and landing needing a day.
-
Range removes the tech stop
Ultra long range reaches the Gulf, Europe and North Asia at high-speed cruise without stopping. Heavy jets cover the same geography with one stop for fuel and crew rest.
-
Ten to fourteen, not six
Past nine passengers the tier is chosen for you regardless of sector length, and cost per seat starts working in your favour rather than against it.
-
Permits take longer here
Most aircraft in this class are foreign-registered, which adds 3–7 business days for the Indonesia landing permit on top of the usual slot coordination.

What A Long Sector Needs In Order
-
01
Route and passenger detail
Full routing, schedule and passenger count. Positioning legs are quoted at this point, not discovered later.
-
02
Permit application
Filed only through official written channels with DGCA/DKPPU, AirNav Indonesia and the airport authority at WADD/DPS. Foreign registrations run 3–7 business days.
-
03
Performance calculation
The 3,000 metre runway at Denpasar clears fully loaded heavy operations in most weather — but it is calculated per departure, not assumed from the number.
-
04
Slot and handling
Confirmed against the arrival window. Peak periods narrow this before they move the rate.
Questions
Heavy Jets, Answered
What does a heavy jet to Bali cost?
USD 7,000–17,000+ per flight hour as of August 2026, for both heavy and ultra long range. On an intercontinental sector that puts a one-way well into six figures — the cost guide bands Europe at USD 150,000–220,000 and Dubai at USD 90,000–170,000.
When is ultra long range actually necessary?
When the sector cannot be flown non-stop by anything smaller. Europe–Bali is 13–16 hours and only the newest Global and Gulfstream types manage it without a tech stop; the Gulf sits at 8.5–10 hours and is reachable by more of the class.
Can Denpasar take a fully loaded heavy jet?
Yes. The runway is around 3,000 metres, which clears fully loaded heavy operations in most weather. Performance is still calculated for each departure.
Is there a model-level page?
Yes — the Gulfstream page covers G550 and G650 specifically, with ranges, cabin zones, Wi-Fi and the permit process for that registry. This page is the decision one level above it.
On This Tier, Start With The Calendar
Route, dates and passenger count. Permit work on a foreign registration is the constraint on a long sector — the aircraft is usually the easier half.
